When synchronizing, I get a: "Server Request failed. Unexpected character." How do I solve this?
Create work packages first using your 2-plan Desktop. These work packages will be detailed by your teams or further broken down by them into smaller work packages using the 2-plan Team.
The Synchronize function of the Team Connector plugin checks for differences between the local work packages (wp) and the remote wp and milestone. But when there are no wps on the server, you will get an "Unexpected character" message. For a clearer insight on this problem, please click here.
The principle behind this is that the project manager who uses 2-plan Desktop sets the general project plan first with budgets and indicative schedules and then passes on the general plan to his or her team for detailing or correction so the project plan is well adapted to team capacities, real world conditions, or properly evaluated with expert inputs. This feature is only possible with the Team Connector plugin.
